Sediment consists of unconsolidated fragments of rock, mineral, and once-living material, shaped by weathering, transported by natural forces, and slowly transformed, through deposition and binding, into sedimentary rock. The process of writing this piece was inspired by this geological process. Raw layers of granular materials horizontally arranged are superimposed forming a porous texture that at some points erodes, exposing the interactions of its inner layers.
